The main objective of a sales and marketing director is to ensure that a brewery’s sales goals are met. They achieve this objective by creating highly detailed sales and marketing plans leveraging social media, communication with distribution partners, promotional events and discovering new sales opportunities while managing existing sales. The position reports directly to the CEO and works with the brewing/distilling team and distribution partners


Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sales responsibilities 85% Marketing 15%

  • Office space provided as well as mobile work to visit key accounts

  • Distributor Management – Working with all distribution partners on sales execution, forecasting new brands and seasonal styles, inventory management, on/off-premise key account management. Serve as primary point of contact with all distribution partners. Working with key retail accounts in conjunction with distribution partners presenting brands for set approval, consistent communication to ensure successful execution of brand representation.

  • Sales Targets – Work directly with management to create monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Sales Promotions –participate in retailer and industry events, including chain calls, sales promos and brewery events, etc

  • Communication – Consistent communication with Management, Distribution Partners and production teams

  • Using social media marketing tools including IG post, stories and reels, FB post/stories and TikTok to maintain the company branding while interacting with customers and stakeholders in posts or messages.

Minimum Requirements

  • Self-motivated

  • Should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or at least two years of related experience

  • Strong communication and social skills

  • Ability to work within a team and team build with growth

  • Customer-oriented (attention to detail, professional, responsive, etc.)

  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Canva or other simple design

  • Experienced with social media

  • Available for occasional evening & weekend promotions/festivals/events

  • Some overnight travel may be required

  • Valid Drivers License and excellent driving record

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Compensation and Benefits

  • Employment status W-2

  • Flexible schedule

  • Primary territory is Oahu with some neighbor island travel required.

  • $45-65K salary including commission based on performance

  • Hours would be minimum of 40 hours per week (mostly at LBC and customer sites), tons of flexibility

  • Reimbursement of travel expenses

  • Includes a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for work-related travel on Oahu (not for daily commuting)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
